A clear RFQ helps suppliers confirm the right product and quotation. Start with the product name, SKU or reference image, then state the quantities required for each item.
For packaging, tell the supplier whether you need bulk packing, retail-ready packaging, a header card, barcode or private-label artwork. Confirm the information that must appear on the final pack before production is arranged.
For delivery planning, state the destination country, preferred trade term and required arrival window. Ask for the quotation to identify the product price, packaging basis, lead-time assumptions and any details still awaiting confirmation.
Before placing an order, review the final specification, product images and packaging artwork together. Keeping these details in one approved record reduces avoidable changes later in the sourcing process.
